The Air Revolution socks are very soft and comfortable and just warm enough for cool weather though not sub-zero temperatures, making them good for three seasons and mild winter conditions.
The design is on the complex side, though it seems to make more sense than with some other socks. There are dense terry loops throughout with heavier sections on the sole, heel, toe and back of the leg for protection and durability. Mesh ventilation channels run down the sides of the socks and across the sole, the latter very thin. I can’t tell if these really make any difference. The socks are designed for the left and right foot though I can’t see much difference between them or notice if I wear them on the wrong feet. Other features are stretch bands at the instep and cuff, an offset toe seam and a Y gore heel. The socks are treated to reduce odours and do this quite well, though wool-rich socks are better. Overall these are okay socks but there are better ones at a similar price.
