Karrimor’s three-strap open-toed
There are rigid plastic supports at the junction of the heel and instep straps but these are not fixed firmly to the footbed and so don’t provide quite as much support as those on other sandals. This means that the heel strap in particular is soft and flexible and not as supportive as it could be. This is a minor criticism however. The footbed is shaped and has a matt finish plus a series of grooves that help stop the foot slipping. It’s slightly raised at the toe, heel and sides for protection. Cushioning is excellent and the outsole is one of the best tested, the deep tread providing excellent grip. The sole unit is very flexible, which should appeal to those who like soft footwear but not those who like a degree of stiffness. The price is very good and these are excellent sandals.
