The Zensor 2S, from Swedish company Haglöfs, is designed for two-season mountaineering in Nordic countries so you can be reasonably sure that it will withstand whatever the British weather can throw at it.
It’s not a light bag but does offer plenty of warmth relative to its weight. The inner lining feels quite luxurious against the skin and the bag is a snug though unrestrictive fit, with broad shoulders, just enough room in the feet (there’s extra insulation around the feet too – am I the only person in the world who nearly always gets sweaty feet in a sleeping bag?) and no real excess space in between. The shell is waterproofed around the footbox and at the forehead, and there’s a generous, hook-and-loop fastened internal shoulder baffle as well as a baffle and anti-snag material along the length of the main zip. All in all a lot of near-year-round bag for your money.
