The Tokee is a smaller version of the Lizard with exactly the same design. Like that tent, it’s easy to pitch. The pole clips make it stable and the lower profile means it flaps less than the Lizard. However the low profile and low weight also mean it’s very small inside. I can’t sit up without pushing my head against the roof and I found doing anything inside without pushing the inner against the outer diffi cult. Getting dressed was very awkward.
The porch is tiny too, without room for cooking undercover. The Tokee is very light but I wouldn’t like to use such a small tent in a big storm or for more than the occasional night. One breezy night on the Cairngorm Plateau was enough for me. The extra 200 or so grams of the Lizard are well worth it for the extra space.
