This tarp is almost big enough. Another 30cm or so in width and it could be pitched with three sides to the ground and still have room inside.
As it is you can’t quite do this, making it a tarp for good weather or use with a bivvy bag. It’s very light but I’d rather have an extra 100g and more width. There are ample attachment points – 16 around the edges and two on the body – consisting of stout webbing loops large enough to insert V-shaped pegs through. The Solo Tarp is quite light. No pegs or guylines are provided.
