The line-up for the Keswick Mountain Festival includes masses of outdoor activities, sporting competitions and great speakers.

Highlights include lectures from Doug Scott and Dave Birkett; Andy Cave; Andy Kirkpatrick and Sir Ranulph Fiennes.

On the shore of Derwentwater, beneath the classic summits of Skiddaw and Catbells, will be the Adventure Base – featuring themed areas of hike, bike, climb, kids, paddle and triathlon. You will be able to pick up handy tips from experts and try out some new activities as well as being able to check out gear innovations.

The festival runs from Wednesday 19 to Sunday 23 May.
