TGO contributor and British Institute of Professional Photographers fellow Mark Gilligan will be exhibiting his internationally renowned Wast Water images at the Wasdale Head Inn. Home to mountaineering and homage to The Abraham Brothers, his work will now occupy the Ritson Bar.
“We have been admirers of Mark’s work for some time now,” explains Wasdale Head Inn manager Georgina Wrathall. “He manages to find shots that are different from the normal Wast Water pictures you see, and we felt it right and proper that if we were going to showcase anyone’s work it had to accurately reflect the area and we know he does this very well. We are pleased he accepted.”
As well as showcasing this body of stunning work, Mark will also be running his Landscape Photography Workshops from the location.
