This week on the Blogger Network, Caro Ryan shares some tips on how to handle bears on the trail

In her latest post, Caro refers to a trip to Canada’s Great Trail last year, and shares some of her tips for being safe in bear country:

Don’t encourage bears by poor camp craft. Make sure you use bear bins and other methods (eg. hanging food in trees) when camping in bear territory.
