The Kiwi Interactive is a perfectly adequate thin fleece top at a low price. However it weighs considerably more than the Didriksons Monte, which is made from a similar fabric and costs the same. The jacket is called Interactive because it’s designed to be zipped into one of Craghoppers’ Kiwi jackets. For this purpose it has to have a matching zip and this is rather chunky for a thin fleece and is, I suspect, one of the reasons for the rather high weight. I don’t like interactive garments and would never zip a fleece into a shell jacket. If you do and you have a Kiwi jacket this fleece is worth considering. Craghoppers’ microfleece is soft and comfortable and breathes and dries well. The jacket has a conventional design with lined handwarmer pockets that are cut off by a rucksack hipbelt and a high collar. There’s no chinguard though and the top of the zip can be felt against the skin. The sleeves can easily be pulled up as the cuffs are quite loose and the fleece has a reasonable amount of stretch.
